Delaware School District Spending & Outcomes — 43 Districts

Explore Delaware school districts and charter schools with original Delaware Department of Education (DDOE) and NCES sources. Directory identities are from NCES 2023–24 (Bryan Allen Stevenson School of Excellence, which opened in 2024–25, from NCES 2024–25), not a current operating-status certification. Students, outcomes, attendance, discipline and staffing come from DDOE's data.delaware.gov files: 2024–25 fall enrollment (September 30, 2024) and student groups, 2025–26 Smarter Balanced, SAT and DeSSA results, graduation for the class of 2023 (the latest DDOE has published), 2024–25 chronic absence and discipline, 2025–26 staffing, and 2024–25 average salaries by position — including positions held by one person, shown with their full-time equivalent; DDOE's state, local and federal salary averages are averaged separately, do not add up to the total and are not shown. For Red Clay Consolidated, DDOE's student figures include Charter School of Wilmington and Delaware Military Academy, which it reports under Red Clay. Finance is DDOE's Financial Educational Statistics Reports, FY2021 to FY2025, which itemise the 19 school districts and report charters only as a statewide total; every district and charter also shows its payments through the state Checkbook for fiscal years 2022 to 2026, labelled as cash disbursements, not expense, and each school district links the State Auditor's latest local-funds performance audit. School taxes are DDOE's 2025–26 Assessment and Tax Rates tables (the revised file of March 2026, which corrected Woodbridge's component rates): component rates, estimated collections and assessed values on reassessed property values — Kent County's since 2024–25, New Castle's and Sussex's since 2025–26 — so a rate is not comparable to one set on the old values; a vocational-technical district's rate on the same properties is shown beside a district's rate and never added to it; the 2021–22 to 2025–26 assessed-value series is labelled where a county's reassessment breaks it. Advanced Placement and dual enrollment are federal CRDC 2023–24 school counts; Delaware publishes no bulk file of them. Withheld figures do not mean zero.
