Florida School District Spending & Outcomes — 77 Districts

Explore Florida's 77 school districts — the 67 county school districts, plus Florida Virtual School, four university lab schools, the state school for the deaf and the blind, the juvenile justice schools and three charter school districts — with official Florida Department of Education (FLDOE), Florida Department of Revenue (DOR) and NCES sources. Directory identities and school lists are from NCES 2024–25 and FLDOE's Master School Identification (MSID); not a current operating-status certification. School property tax rates are in mills (one mill is $1 of tax per $1,000 of taxable value), from each district's 2025–26 summary budget, checked against DOR's 2025 millage and FLDOE's calculation for the Florida Education Finance Program (FEFP), the state funding formula: the required local effort (RLE) is set by the state, the Legislature sets the discretionary operating levy's maximum each year (0.748 mills in every 2025–26 budget), and voted levies are approved by the county's voters. Where the budget and DOR disagree, only the state-confirmed rate is shown. A tax rate is not a bill, and no tax bill is estimated. Finance comes from each district's Annual Financial Report, its own unaudited report as FLDOE published it, FY2013–14 to FY2024–25 in nominal dollars, and from FLDOE's 2025–26 summary budgets, which are plans, not spending. Staffing and pay are FLDOE salary survey figures. Outcomes are FAST, B.E.S.T. and end-of-course results, FLDOE's own school and district grades (A–F) and the federal four-year graduation rate. Florida Virtual School operates as a statewide virtual LEA with no physical school buildings. Figures FLDOE suppresses (*, fewer than 10 students) are withheld. Withheld figures do not mean zero.
