Explore DC Public Schools and the District of Columbia's 68 public charter local education agencies, each on its own page, with original Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), DC Public Charter School Board (PCSB), DC Department of Human Resources, D.C. Code and NCES sources. Directory identities are from NCES 2024–25, joined to OSSE by OSSE's own LEA and school codes; not a current operating-status certification. The District of Columbia has no school tax and no school budget vote: DCPS, a District agency, and every public charter school are paid from the District's general fund by the Uniform Per Student Funding Formula, so each page shows the formula's foundation level and weights from the D.C. Code and the District's own residential real property rates, labelled as the District's, never as a school tax. Spending is OSSE's Report Card finance data (per-pupil expenditure for fiscal 2023 to 2025) and its Common Financial Reporting Standards file (each school's spending in nine categories); per-pupil figures include each school's share of the LEA's central spending, allocated by OSSE's methodology, so a small adult or specialty charter's figure is not comparable with DCPS. Students, outcomes and climate are OSSE's 2024–25 Report Card files (students ever enrolled, four- and five-year graduation, college enrollment, advanced coursework, chronic absence and discipline), test results are OSSE's 2025–26 DC CAPE and MSAA release (with 2024–25 as the prior year), and staffing is OSSE's 2025–26 educator workforce data; each figure names its own school year. OSSE prints the edges of a range only as a band ("<1%", ">95%"); a band is shown as the band, never as a number. Economically Disadvantaged is OSSE's direct-certification measure, not meal eligibility, which universal free meals make meaningless in the District. DCPS salaries are the District's employee file by job title, as it stood on 26 September 2024, with single positions named by title; charters are not District employers and are not in it. Each charter's audited finances come from PCSB's FY2025 Financial Analysis Report, with its FY2025 audit linked and pinned. Eight adult and pre-K-only charters that NCES lists with no school carry their figures on the LEA page. Withheld figures do not mean zero.

- District real property tax rate, Class 1A residential (the District's rate, not a school tax) (TY2025-)
- 0.85 dollars per $100 of assessed value. The District of Columbia's own real property tax rate, per $100 of assessed value, set by the Council in D.C. Code § 47-812(b-12) for tax year 2025 and each tax year after. It funds every District service through the general fund, schools among them; the District levies no separate school tax, and no school or LEA sets a rate. Class 1A is residential real property, including multifamily.
- District real property tax rate, Class 1B residential above $2,500,000 (the District's rate, not a school tax) (TY2025-)
- 1 dollars per $100 of assessed value. Class 1B is residential property with no more than two dwelling units: the first $2,500,000 of assessed value is taxed at $0.85 and the portion above at this rate. From tax year 2026 the threshold rises each year with a cost-of-living adjustment (§ 47-812(b-12)(3)(B)), so the current threshold is higher than the statute's starting figure.

- School tax (does not apply in the District of Columbia)
- The District of Columbia levies no school tax and holds no school budget vote. DCPS is a District agency and each public charter school is funded by the District; all are paid from the District's general fund through the Uniform Per Student Funding Formula, so there is no school tax rate, levy or bill to show.
- Salaries (not reported for this LEA)
- Bridges PCS is a public charter LEA, a nonprofit that employs its own staff: the District's employee salary file (DCHR) covers District government employees only, and OSSE's educator workforce files carry counts and qualifications but no pay. Charters report aggregate compensation in their audited statements (linked under fiscal transparency).
- Advanced coursework (not reported for this LEA)
- OSSE's 2024-25 advanced coursework and SAT file has no row for Bridges PCS. OSSE computes these measures over high-school students only.
